The Cochrane Labour Day parade has a long and rich history.  Held every year on the long weekend in September, the parade has attracted large, appreciative crowds for as long as many can remember.  The Cochrane Labour Day parade is the second largest parade in Alberta, right behind the Calgary Stampede.  What an accomplishment for our town on the Bow!

Putting on a parade of this magnitude takes a small army of people and a significant amount of money.  We rely on committed volunteers to provide the manpower, and we are fortunate to have the financial support of many local businesses.  We invite you to join us this year.

Your sponsorship will be used to pay for:

  • clowns and street performers along the route to entertain kids of all ages before and throughout the parade
  • media advertising leading up to this extraordinary weekend
  • costs involved for a multitude of items we can’t beg, borrow or steal

All participating businesses get recognition as well as sponsor signage during the parade and at the marshalling area.

Please join in the fun and excitement!
